Rachel Becker is currently the Copyright & Emerging Technologies Librarian at Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin. Her experience in copyright and licensing has been shaped through opportunities ranging from big research universities to small public libraries. Previous copyright conference presentation topics include interlibrary loan, distance education, and basic skills for public librarians among others. Current projects include textbook affordability, OER, advocating for fair use through license agreements, and campus copyright education. Seeing students achieve their educational goals is what she loves most about being a librarian.
