Bio

Pia M. Hunter is a Teaching Assistant Professor and librarian at the University of Illinois College of Law. She holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Master of Science from the School of Information Science at the University of Illinois. Prior to joining the law library faculty, she served as Visiting Assistant Professor and Copyright and Reserve Services Librarian at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where she researched and developed best practices for copyright and fair use for instruction for the UIC campus. Her recent publications include "Whose Stuff Is It Anyway? Adopting Strategies for U.S. Orphan Works" in Copyright Conversations: Rights Literacy in a Digital World.
