Licensing Track Individual Presentation: Troubleshooting and developing copyright information for faculty at a medium academic library

In 2018, the librarians at Valdosta State University discovered that there was a lack of information on copyright-related topics available to the faculty. Over the course of the year, we established a committee focused on providing information on copyright, fair use, course reserves, and using persistent links. With the help of the Faculty Senate Technology Committee, we were able to distribute information to the departments on campus to better inform faculty on copyright-related issues. This presentation will cover what steps we took and faculty response.
